Dorothy Delano, 85 of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday at Bickford Senior Living, Crawfordsville.
She retired after 25 years with Standard Grocery, and she owned the Busy Hands Craft Shop in Linden for many years. She was also a member of the New Market Baptist Church.
Dorothy was born June 30, 1931 in Crawfordsville to Jesse and Ada Fagan.
On May 29, 1949 she married Jesse Delano, they were married for 67 years. He preceded her in death May 27, 2016. Surviving are her children Mark (Bev) Delano of New Richmond & Janet Clark of Crawfordsville and Daughter in law Sylvia Delano. She has 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by his son Mike Delano, daughter Judith Delano.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Tami Mussche officiating. Interment will be in the Indian Creek cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 Sunday at the funeral home.
