Dorothy V. (Kamenski) Dolan passed away on December 9, 2023, Crawfordsville, Indiana, after a brief illness.  She was 89 years old.

Dorothy was born June 25, 1934, in New Britain, Connecticut, to John Kamenski and Mary (Konicko) Kamenski.  She married Francis T. Dolan on April 25, 1980.  He preceded her in death November 22, 2023.

She is also preceded in death by her parents, sister Jeanette Kizilski, brother-in-law Joseph Kizilski, and step-father Joseph Provycyk.

Dorothy was a loving, caring "step-in" Mom to her husband's children, Moira (Steve) Spohn, Erin (Dan) Truncone, and Patrick (Anne) Dolan, who lost their mother when they were very young.  They loved her dearly.

Surviving family include her step-children, nieces Lynda (Alain) McMahon and Gail (George) Verheyen, grandchildren Nicholas (Elizabeth) Truncone, Brianna (Jason Nebergall) Beck, Brandon (Katie) Beck, Nathan Truncone, Elizabeth Truncone, Sean Dolan, and four great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was an insurance underwriter with Traveler's Insurance in Hartford, Connecticut, for several years.  She greatly enjoyed traveling on several cruises, sewing, and spending time with family.

A private family service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Hunt and Son Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, Indiana.
