Obituary
Dorothy Ann Emerson, 67, Crawfordsville passed
away Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016 at Williamsburg Healthcare.
She was born May 7, 1949 in Crawfordsville to Thomas
and Margaret Lee Paxton.
Mrs. Emerson graduated from Crawfordsville High
School in 1969. She was retired from Culver Hospital
and worked at Williamsburg for 14 years. She married
James Emerson and he survives. Memberships included
Eastern Star.
Survivors in addition to her husband include a son,
Christian Matthew Emerson; a daughter, Donna Layne
Rush; three brothers, Roger, Terry and Paul Waddell; a
sister, Rosemarie Koebcke; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday,
Nov. 29 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Family and
friends may pay their respects two hours prior to service.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery North.
