Dorothy M. Miller, 80, of Crawfordsville, passed away Friday at 11:43 a.m. at St. Clare Medical Center.
Mrs. Miller was born May 18, 1927 in Wingate to Deward K. and Mable McCall Hightower.
She was a Crawfordsville High School graduate. She married James E. Miller on Feb. 7, 1945. He preceded her in death on July 19, 1994. She worked at the Shirt factory. She was a member of First Christian Church, OES #97, American Legion Aux #72, VFW, and the Sugar Creek Squares.
She is survived by sons, James E. Miller of Crawfordsville and Jack (Pam) A. Miller of Brownsburg; Etta Mills of Jacksonville, Fla., and Evelyn Bane of Brownsburg; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brother, John Hightower; and daughter-in-law, Beverly Miller.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Whicker officiating. Burial is at Oak Hill North.
Friends and family can pay their respects from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
