Dorothy J. Tague, 93, of Crawfordsville died Thursday, May 5, 2015, at home.
She was born Dec. 31, 1922, at Crawfordsville. She was the daughter of Opal and Leroy Bannister. On Sept. 1, 1951, she married Eugene Tague. He passed away July 29, 2014.
She retired from RR Donnelly & Sons after more than 42 years working in the bindery. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Crawfordsville for many years.
Surviving is a daughter, Debbie (Dennis) Ward of Crawfordsville; three grandsons, Michael (Natalie) Ward of Crawfordsville, Brian (Allyson) Ward of Noblesville and Kyle (Molly) Ward of Carmel; five great-grandchildren, Mason and Riley Ward of Crawfordsville, Camden Ward, Ethan and Caleb Martin of Noblesville.
A sister, Betty, preceded her in death.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her beauty, kindness compassion and selflessness will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2016, at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with the Revs. Isaac Zull and Mike Wren officiating. Visitation will be held 1-3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum.
