Edith Snyder, 92, of Fort Wayne and formerly of Crawfordsville passed away at 10:05 a.m. Saturday at Regency Place Nursing Home in Fort Wayne.

Ms. Snyder was born Feb. 21, 1915 in Fort Wayne to Charles L. and Laura Reuille Meyers.

She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Coldwater, Mich. in 1932 and later graduated from Warner Beauty School.

She was a beautician for over 50 years in Crawfordsville.

Her memberships included First Christian Church, Christian Women's Fellowship and she was a volunteer at the First Christian Church Nursery School.

Survivors include sons, Robert L. (Carolyn) Snyder of Crawfordsville, R.C. (Teresa) Snyder of Missoula, Mont. and Jerry (Teresa) Snyder of Sullivan; a daughter, Deanna (Marv) Schaadt of Fort Wayne; a sister, Irene Webb of Sun City, Fla.; grandchildren, Jamie Snyder, Susan Cuebas, Connie Brock, John Brock, Jim Snyder, Deann Snyder, Ashley Snyder, Brandon Snyder, Tim Post, Linda Martinez and Jeff Schaadt and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ed Meyers; sisters, Ruth Lane and Dixie Maginity and a grandson, Joseph Snyder.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. Keith Strain officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends and family may call 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
