Obituary

Edward Harwin
Heimbach, 86, of New
Ross, died Friday at
his residence.
He was born Nov. 1,
1922 in Rossville to
Herman H. and Bertha
Swartz Heimbach. He
married Margaret
Jean Grimes on Nov. 3,
1945 in Mulberry. She
survives.
He served in the
U.S. Army during WWII and retired as a
Lt. Col. from the Indiana National Guard.
He commissioned and served in WWII as
a tank commander and joined the Indiana
National Guard after returning from
WWII.
His memberships included Mace United
Methodist, Crawfordsville Elks 483,
and a charter member of Montgomery
County Pioneer Association.
He is survived by his son Stephen E.
Heimbach of New Ross; five grandchildren;
and six great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by one son,
Gary A. Heimbach, and one daughter,
Linda Heimbach.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday
at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with
the Rev. Roger Ward officiating. Burial
will be at Oak Hill Cemetery North with
military rites.Visitation is from noon until
time of service Monday at the funeral
home.

to Parkinson's research of Mace United
Methodist Church.
