Obituary
Mr. Edward C. Stafford, 78, of Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at IU Arnett Hospital, Lafayette.
Mr. Stafford was born Feb. 6, 1936, in Elwood, to Gerald and Mary Drake Stafford.
He married Agnes Lester on June 17, 1967; she survives.
Mr. Stafford had worked for Sommer Metalcraft in Crawfordsville, and then started his own business, ECC in Lebanon, and ECS Anchor Supply in Crawfordsville.
Survivors include his wife; seven children, Bernie (Star) Deaton of Waynetown, Donna (Paul) Campbell of New Richmond, Alan Northcutt of Crawfordsville, Maryln (Gary) Evans of New Ross, Roger (Debbie) Northcutt of Bridgeton, Kathy Low of Crawfordsville and Tim (Letha) Northcutt of Waynetown; and 25 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Max Stafford.
Visitation is 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave., Crawfordsville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, at the funeral home, with Pastor Clarence Lee officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery South, Crawfordsville.
