Edwin Chenoweth, 88 of Linden passed away Friday at Life's Journey Hospice, Avon surrounded by his family.

He was born June 21, 1934 in Lynn, Indiana to Edwin R. & Mabel Norman Chenoweth.  Edwin served in the United States Navy. He was a farmer in the Linden area for close to 60 years.

On December 26, 1955, he married Thelma Partridge, she survives.

Also surviving are his children Mark (Beth) Chenoweth, Brent (Pam) Chenoweth, and Kara (Eddy) Meadows. He has 7 Grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A sister Joan Mangas also survives.  He was preceded in death by his brother Frank.

Ed was known for his kindness, generosity, and his love for his family. Those who knew Ed would describe him by saying "He is a good man". He was loved by his wife and family and will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, November 9 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville with Pastor Jeff Stedge officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Military rites will be provided at 2:00pm by the American Legion Post 72 Honor guard and the US Navy. Interment will follow the service in Linden Cemetery.
