Elaine Marie Phillips of Crawfordsville,
died at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St.
Vincent Hospital. She was 60.
Born to Darrell and Lois Grupy Call in
Effingham, Ill., she was a graduate of
Van Buren High School in Clay County.
On March 14, 1981, she married Jack
Phillips. He survives.
She was a member of the American
Legion Auxiliary and the Women of the
Moose.
Besides her husband, she is survived
by two sons, Larry Kunkel of Waynetown
and Barry Kunkel of Crawfordsville; two
daughters, Terri Kunkel of Sellersburg
and Sherri Moore of Rossville; a stepson,
John Phillips, of Darlington; a stepdaughter,
Jana Conn, of Cutler; two brothers,
Michael Call of Brazil and Gary Call of
Carbon; 12 grandchildren; and four great
grandchildren.
The service will take place at 2:00
p.m. on Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral
Home with Rev. Keith Strain presiding.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
Visitation hours are 4-8 p.m. on Friday.
