Eleanor Morris passed away Thursday at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health — Crawfordsville. She was 87 years old.
Eleanor was born April 2, 1927, in Elmira, N.Y., to William Arthur and Lice (Gallagher) Wood. She married Robert L. Morris. He passed away Oct. 21, 2007.
Eleanor resided in Crawfordsville and had been a homemaker. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and previously belonged to the Bowling League, Flower Lover's Club and Group G of Needle Workers Art League. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, working with flowers and reading.
Eleanor is survived by her children Richard A. Morris, Jim L. Morris, Susan E. Jackson and Linda A. Kelp. She had eight grandchildren and two great-grand children. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert A. Morris.
Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 30 at Hunt and Son Funeral Home. The funeral service, officiated by Father Dennis Faker, will follow. Eleanor will be buried at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
