Elizabeth S. Whetsell of Crawfordsville, formerly of Brownsburg,
died at 11:05 a.m. on Saturday at Williamsburg Healthcare.
She was 92.
She was born in Montgomery County to Marshall "Jack"
and Zulu Ward Sicks. She was married to Wallace Whetsell; he
died in February of 1970.
She was a registered nurse and a member of Calvary United
Methodist Church in Brownsburg, the Eastern Star Church
Circle, Flower Club, Brookside Garden Club, and Friendship
Club.
She is survived by two cousins, Mary Helen Carter and
Carolyn Dice.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a son,
Dennis W. Whetsell.
The service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral
Home with Pastor Todd Outcalt presiding. Burial will be at
Mace Community Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior to
service.
