Ella I. Carroll, 88, of Crawfordsville passed away 5:55am at Ben Hur Nursing home. She was born December 7, 1917 at Thompkinsville, KY to Carl & Cordelia Riley Dodson. She married Austin Carroll in 1935 and he preceded her in death in 1997. She is survived by two sons David (Sherry) Carroll and Jim (Sue) Carroll both of Crawfordsville. Also surviving are brothers Robert Dodson of Indianapolis, Daniel Dodson of Greenwood, and sister Mary Buchanan of Indianapolis. Four grand children, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Graveside services will be held 2:00pm Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum with visitation one hour prior at the mausoleum.
