Elsie T. Wilson, 89, Crawfordsville, died Saturday at Williamsburg Health Care.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of East Side Baptist Church and was retired from Medisave Drug Store.
She was born May 9, 1917, in Faubush, Ky., to Brent and Ada Trimble Tarter.

She was married to Elbert Wilson, who died in 1993.

Survivors include: Daughters Elizabeth (Richard) Crosby, of Roachdale; Gloria (Dick) German, of Crawfordsville; Beverly (Larry) Hartle, Lake Park, Ga.; Deborah (Tom) DeFreitas, Carrollton, Ga.; Phyllis (John) Neff, St. Clair, Mo.; sons Winston (Gini) Wilson, and Joe Wilson, both of Crawfordsville; sisters Reva (Earl) Marcum, and Adell (Arvis) Baugh, both of Nancy, Ky.; brothers Garnett (Sue) Tarter, Nancy, Ky.; Lowell (Maritta) Tarter, Nicholasville, Ky.; Ruel Bill Tarter and Arnos (Faye) Tarter, both of Dayton, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. Brothers John, Edsel, Delbert, Russell, Lloyd and R.C. and sisters Erma Davenport and Bettie Beasley are deceased.
Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at East Side Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery North. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the East Side Baptist Church Building Fund.
