Emma A. Earl of Crawfordsville died at 9:15
p.m. Saturday at Lane House Nursing Home.
She was 103.
Mrs. Earl had worked at
FW Woolworth Store and
co-owned Carl's Restaurant
for several years with her
husband.
Her memberships included
American Legion Auxiliary,
Elks and 1005 Eagles
Auxiliary, which she was the
past president and honorary state president.
She was born Aug. 12, 1908, at Alamo, to
Fred and Stella Lewellen Wilkinson. She married
Carl Earl in 1929. He died in 1964.
Survivors include: daughters, Yolanda
(Richard) Delks of Jacksonville, Fla., and
Sharon (Joe) Archer of Sebring Fla.; nine
grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and
11 great-great-grandchildren.
Son Richard Earl and three brothers are
deceased.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m.
Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home,
107 N. Grant Ave., with the Rev. Zachary
Rainey officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill
Cemetery North. Friends may call 4-7 p.m.
