Emma Jean Hoffa, 83, of Crawfordsville passed away Sunday morning at her residence.
She was a homemaker and she belonged to Trinity United Methodist Church and Circle 4 and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
Born July 21, 1928, at Glasgow, Ky., she was a daughter of Delmar L. and Mary Lillie (Bridges) Kinslow. She attended Lyons School in Glasgow, Ky., and married Gerald J. Hoffa on Sept. 24, 1947. He passed away on May 21, 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Donald M. and David J. Hoffa, both of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Judith A. Brand of Rockville; three sisters, Lavern Tyrel of Lebanon, Lucille Caudill of English and Mary E. Ferguson of Floyds Knob; 12 grandchildren, Lauren Swanson, Robyn Thurman, Dawn Elliott, Leslie Schrock, Danny Lee Martin, Donald J. Hoffa, Michael Martin, Sarah Hoffa, Chad Robertson, Kerrie Bailey, Drew Hoffa and Eric Hoffa; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughters, Jerri Sue and Deborah Robertson; a grandson, Timothy Brand; a sister; and six brothers.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Daryl Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery on Grant Avenue.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, at Hunt & son Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
