Erna T. Hartman, 82, of Crawfordsville passed away
Sunday morning at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville.
Erna was born July 19, 1932 in Enzberg, Germany to
Gottlieb and Berta Borzer Gossweiler.
She married Elbert Hartman on May 17, 1951, he
preceded her in death September 15, 1976.
She was retired from Sommer Metalcraft.
She is survived by her children Carolyn (Gary)
Harrison of Crawfordsville, Milton (Betty) Hartman of
Crawfordsville and Kristina Lieske of Russellville. She
also has 12 grandchildren, Damon Hartman, Christopher
(Lisa) Hartman, Aimee (Brad) Barnett, Kristen (Tyler)
Booth, Jennifer (Brad) Gardener, Angelina (James)
Corder, Katrina Lieske (Todd Evans) Burris, Kassandra
(Josh) Brown, Matt (Carrie) Morrison, Randi (Laura
Page) Morrison, Reed Morrison and John Hartman as
well as 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews in Germany.
She was preceded in death by her son Steve Hartman
in 2013.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Hunt &
Son Funeral Home with Pastor Rod Curran officiating.
Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery North. Visitation
will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
