Robert "Ethan" Rivers, 27, of Crawfordsville passed from this life unexpectedly yet peacefully Monday, 03/9/2020 at home.  Born March 20, 1992 at Crawfordsville, the oldest son of Robert Allen Rivers and Jennifer Jo Goda Rivers.  Ethan graduated from North Montgomery High School in 2010 and attended Ball State University.

Ethan was quiet, but loved his family and friends fiercely.  He was an avid skateboarder, obtaining multiple injuries to prove it.  Ethan had a deep appreciation for music from a very young age and his voice always stood out among the Rivers family. His passion for poetry, both reading and writing, affected and influenced all those around him. His extraordinary sense of beauty will be deeply and sincerely missed.

Ethan was preceded in death by Great Grandfather Robert Max Rivers (his namesake), Grandmother Teresa Rivers, Grandfather Dale Trump and Uncle Pat Goda.

Ethan is survived by Grandfather Jim Rivers, Grandparents Mike and Linda Goda, Grandmother Pamela Gwynn And Grandmother Ruth Trump. Ethan is survived by mother Jennifer Goda Rivers and fiancé Josh Todd, father and stepmother Bob and Kathy Rivers, brother and best friend Dominick and wife Peper Langhout Rivers, sisters Emma Rivers, Abby Rivers, Jayden Rivers, Lindsey Haslam and fiancé Wagner Ballinger as well as half-brothers Cian Todd and Aiden Todd.  He is survived by nephew Boston Rivers as well as Uncles Adam Rivers, Jon Rivers, Joe Rivers and Danny and wife Shelby Rivers as well as Aunt Bekah Rivers and an enormous amount of cousins and other family.

Ethan will be sorely missed by his large and loving family.  Services will be at Hunt and Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville with Jim Rivers officiating.  A visitation will be Wednesday, 3/18/20 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  with a funeral service on Thursday, 3/19/20 at 11:00 a.m.  Ethan will be laid to rest at Indian Creek Hill.
