Diane Linton

Ethel “Diane” Linton, 86, Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday February 17, 2026 at Ben Hur Health and Rehabilitation in Crawfordsville.

She was born on April 26, 1939 in Lafayette, IN to Irvin C. and Emma P. (Taylor) Meyer and was raised by her mother and Harold Clark. A graduate of Horace Mann School, she married Don Linton on April 5, 1974 and he preceded her in death on November 25, 2016.

She was an animal lover that enjoyed birds and feeding squirrels.

Surviving are her children; Eric Douglas, Todd Douglas, and Cindy (Scott) Corey. She is preceded in death by her infant son Scott Douglas, daughter, Ireva Douglas, daughter-in-law, Amanda Douglas, siblings; Irvin C. Meyer, Jr., Joyce Burnett, Martha Sutton and Janice Cox. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Thursday February 26, 2026 at Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum, where she will be laid to rest. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County.
