Eula Mae Hunt, 83, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 10:40 p.m. Saturday at Williamsburg Healthcare.

Mrs. Hunt was born Jul 4, 1924 in Luverne, Ala., to Charlie and Lodusky White Owens.

She graduated from Alabama schools. She married James Hunt on March 31, 1945 in Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death in November of 1989. She worked at Loeb's in Lafayette and Crawfordsville. She was a member of Woodland Height Christian Church, Eastern Star-Alamo.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice E. Hunt of Bloomington and Sherry (Larry) Allen of Crawfordsville; brother, Edward Owens of Columbia, S.C.; one grandchild; three step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and seven step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Charlotte.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery on Grant Avenue with the Rev. Steve Wilke officiating.

Friends and family can pay their respects from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
