Evelyn Jane Ellington, 89, of Crawfordsville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 24th.  She was born January 22, 1929 to Raymond and Sarah Harmon.  She is survived by her husband, David Kenneth (Duke) Ellington, also of Crawfordsville.  She was a graduate of New Ross High School.  She had three children; Sandra (Rash) Warren of Bloomington, Maribeth (Ellington) Terhune of Carmel, and Steve Ellington (Shirely) of Lebanon.  Evelyn had eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one grandson, one granddaughter, and three brothers; Gene Harmon of Darlington, Raymond, Jr. and Alan Harmon both of Crawfordsville.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Evelyn was a member of the First Baptist church of Crawfordsville and a life-time member of the American Legion Auxiliary.  She was employed by RR Donnelly & Son and worked at the Cambridge Inn Cafeteria in the Boulevard Mall.  She provided home health care for various residents of Crawfordsville. Evelyn worked at the Journal Review and was an Avon cosmetics representative.  Her pastime included oil painting, sewing, reading, taking care of her pets, tending her beautiful flowerbeds, and enjoying her family.
