Obituary
Florence Simms, 82, Crawfordsville died at 6 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Ben Hur Nursing Home.
She had belonged New Life Apostolic Church and had worked at Hoosier Crown.
She was born to Worley F. Miller and Nora Knotts Miller July 29, 1928 in West Virginia. She was married to Lindy Simms, they were married 45 years. He is deceased.
Survivors include: three sisters, Deenie LaRue, of West Virgina, Maxine Carr, of Ohio, Ruby and Bonnie, both of West Virginia; three brothers, June of Ohio, John and Dale, both of West Virginia; two half-sisters, Sandy, Connie and Debbie and a half-brother, Werley M., Jr.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son Charles E. Wilson, Sr.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Gobin officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday.
