Francis T. Dolan ("Buzz"), 88, of Crawfordsville, Indiana, passed away on
November 22, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born December 6th, 1934, in Worcester, MA, to the late Francis P.
and Anna (McGrath) Dolan.
He worked in steel sales in Connecticut for 37 years before moving to
Indiana to be closer to family. He loved spending time with his family, joking
around with everyone he came in contact with, and watching the Boston Red
Sox. He was a member of St. Bernards's Catholic Church.
He married Maureen (Kenure) Dolan on July 22, 1961.She passed away
on December 7th, 1978. Together they had three children who survive, Moira
(Steven) Spohn, Erin(Daniel) Truncone, and Patrick (Anne) Dolan.
He later married Dorothy(Kamenski) on April 25th, 1980. She survives.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1963 during the Korean War.
He is also survived by six grandchildren, Nicholas(Elizabeth) Truncone,
Brianna(Jason Nebergall)Beck, Brandon(Katie) Beck, Nathan Truncone,
Elizabeth Truncone, and Sean Dolan, four great grandchildren, and several
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother David Dolan, and two
sisters, Dorothy Sisson and Anne Myers.
A private family service will be held on December 2nd, 2023.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the U.S Department
of Veterans Affairs.
