Frank Paul Dickerson III, 76, of Crawfordsville, passed away on August 16, 2025, at 1019 Belle's Place. He was born on August 20, 1948, and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1969. His last place of employment was with CEL&P Light Company, where he worked for 17 years.Frank was known for his humor, love of sports, and dedication to his family. He enjoyed attending races with his best friend, Big Mike, finding a good treasure at many yard sales with his longtime friend Terry Shelton, and cheering on the Colts and Pacers.

He is survived by his children: sons, Frank Paul Dickerson IV (Kelsie), Geoffrey Perry; daughters, Michele Jones (Josh) and Shon French (Scott); grandchildren, Klayden Nine, Ayden Dickerson, Maddy Nine, Hannah Hudson (Mike), and Eli French; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Janice Farrell, and many extended family members and friends.Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Jr. and Betty (Caldwell) Dickerson; brothers, James and Jerry Dickerson; sister, Cheryl Dickerson; and lifelong best friend, Mike Williams.

A celebration of life will be held on Frank's birthday, Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 4:30 p.m to 6:30 p.m. Frank's wishes were to be cremated. The American Legion will honor him at the conclusion of the service.
