Obituary

Frank DePaul Sulc, 86, of
Crawfordsville died Thursday
at Home Hospital in
Lafayette.
The son
of Frank
and Sydonia
Borovichka
Sulc, he
was born
Feb. 23,
1923 in
Cicero Illinois.
On
Jan. 29,
1949, he married Virginia
Schubert, who preceded him
in death in 2007.
Sulc was a graduate of Illinois
Industrial Technical College
and worked as a chemical
engineer for R.R. Donnelley
prior to his retirement. He
served in the U.S. Army during
World War II, serving in
the European Theater. He
was a member of many
churches and organizations,
including St. Bernard's
Catholic Church, Donnelley
Retirement
Club, Habitat
for Humanity,
Friends of the
Library, Friends of Wabash
College, Holy Family Camp
and Sugar Creek Square
Dancers.
He is survived by his son,
David (Leah Ann) Sulc of
Crawfordsville; Daughters,
Amy (Richard) Hedge of
Crawfordsville and Rachel
(Joe) Mikesell of Elkhart, Ill.;
sister, Phyllis Lewis of Downers
Grove, Ill.; nine grandchildren
and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be
held at 10 a.m. Monday at St.
Bernard's Catholic Church,
with Father David Hellmann
officiating. Burial will be at
Calvary Cemetery at a later
date. Visitation is set for 4
p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hunt
& Son Funeral Home.
