Obituary
Fred D. Switzer, 67, of rural Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday at Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was a retired farmer, a member of the Moose Lodge, and Masonic Lodge.
He was born to Fred M. & Delzie Wilkinson Switzer March 29, 1939 in Crawfordsville. He graduated Crawfordsville High School in 1957. After High School he joined the US Army and served from 1957-1959.
Survivors include: Jim (Sheri) Switzer, son; Pam (Jeff) Mitchell, daughter; Michael Switzer, son; Doyne Branstetter, sister; grandchildren- Sammy Jo Mitchell, Megan & Justin Switzer, and Eli Switzer.
Funeral services will be held 10:30am Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Delks officiating. Friends may call from 4-7pm on Wednesday. Burial will be in the Youngs Chapel Cemetery with Military rites at graveside. Memorial contributions may be made to donors favorite charity.
