Obituary
Fred E. Collins, 69, of Crawfordsville passed away Sunday at Methodist Hospital.
He was born April 29, 1937 at Ridgefarm, IL to Jonathan E. & Anna Lucille Sanders Collins. He attended Wallace, Indiana School.
He married Shirley Perkins May 26, 1956, she survives.
He was a member of Montgomery County Pioneers Association and Covered Bridge Antique Power Association.
He was an operating Engineer running a paving machine for Fauber Construction and later Milestone construction.
Survivors include; Sons Edward Collins of Crawfordsville; Michael Collins of Petersburg, IN; & John Collins of Crawfordsville, Daughters- Debra Anderson of Crawfordsville and Kathlyn Stahl of Worthington, IN.
He is also survived by his brothers and sisters- Ralph, Paul, Stanley, Duane, Harlod, Otto, and Ernie Collins, Mary Griffin, Lois Cunningham, Jeanette Anderson, Carol Johnson, & Karla Stewart. A brother Jim Collins and Sister Bethe Collins are deceased.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Duane Collins officiating. Friends may call from 4-8pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to charity of donors choice.
