Obituary

Frederick Dickerson, 73, of Crawfordsville, died
at 8:35 a.m.Sunday at his residence.
He was born Jan. 5, 1936 in Crawfordsville to
Raymond Edward Dickerson and Helen Marie
(Burke) Dickerson.He married Betty Jane Pettit on
June 7, 1958 in Paris, Ill. She survives.
Dickerson worked in the family business, Montgomery
County beverage, for 26 years and retired
from the Indiana Department of Transportation.He
was a 1954 graduate of Crawfordsville High School.
His memberships included Masonic Lodge #144, Murat Shrine of
Indianapolis, Montgomery County Shrine, Moose Lodge #6, and Fraternal Order of Eagles 1005.
Additional survivors include a loving and devoted daughter and sonin-
law, Cheryl and Jeff Fruits of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Sharon
Davidson of Crawfordsville and Mary Ann (Bill) Patterson of Pittsboro.
Fred was also a proud uncle to nieces and nephews, Malcolm (Julie)
Mitchell, Jeff Simpson, C.J. (Mary Ann) Adams, Eugene (Tammy)
Adams, Melissa Patterson, Ann (Scott) Wells, and Georganna Ryker;
and 15 great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant children, and
one brother, Joed Dickerson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m.Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral
Home with the Rev. James Ranard officiating. Burial will follow at
Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
today at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Masonic services at 8 p.m.
