Gary L. Douglas 73 of New Market passed away Monday surrounded by his family.
He was born June 28, 1940 in Montgomery County to Earl and Mildred Baker Douglas. He was a 1958 graduate of Waveland High School. Gary retired from Alcoa in Dec 1996.
Gary Loved Golf and playing the trumpet.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cheryl (Haskett), three sons Tony (Debbie) Douglas of Crawfordsville; Logan (Girlfriend Maggie) Douglas of Crawfordsville & Greg (Kim) Myers of Kathryn North Dakota. Daughter Tami (Leroy) Jacquez of Waynetown. Also surviving are his grandchildren Kapri Douglas, Adriana Jacquez, Kylee Myers, Kendra Myers, Cody Jacquez & Willie Jacquez as well as Great Granddaughter Phaedra Douglas. He also is survived by his special buddy Kadyn Cohee who was like a grandson to him and very special friends Don & Diane Linton of Waveland and Don & Emma Crum of Pittsboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Patty Wenzel & Paquita Wolfe, Nephews Steve Shepherd and Roger Money.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastors Ryan Bardner and Mark Money officiating. Visitation will be held from 11-2 Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service.
