Obituary

George Mayford Endicott, 80, of Crawfordsville, passed away Monday at his home.

Mr. Endicott was born on Aug. 9, 1930 to Mayford Earl and Eunice (Thomas) Endicott in Garfield. He graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1948 and served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He worked and eventually retired from R.R. Donnelley.

He married Mary Pauline Kendall. She preceded him in death on March 25, 2005.

Mr. Endicott was a member of Young's Chapel.

Survivors include three daughters, Paula Jo Green of Darlington, Jacqueline Joyner of Terre Haute and Ann Bennett of Terre Haute; four step-daughters, Barb Scaggs, Mary Alice Conrad and Linda Kay Endicott, all of Crawfordsville, and Teresa Livengood of Ft. Wayne; a brother, Ronald Endicott of Alexandria, Va.; a sister, Doris Parker of Deland, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Endicott and a brother, Clyde Endicott.

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville with the Rev. James Ranard officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North with VFW and American Legion Rites. Family and friends may pay their respects from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
