Obituary
George A Rager, 87 of Crawfordsville passed away at 2:57pm Wednesday in Crawfordsville.
George was born June 20, 1920 in Rowan Indiana on the family farm to Clyde & Laura Bruchart Rager. He drove a bulk oil tanker for Conoco and Phillips for 29 years. He also drove a school bus for Union Township and Crawfordsville Schools for 31 years.
He married Louise Bryant on November 22, 1972, she survives. Also surviving are his sons Clyde & Vern Rager both of Crawfordsville. Daughters, Nancy Thompson of Elkhart; Bonnie Bohrer of Burea, OH; Sandra Fanning of Elmhurst, IL; Ellen Rantz of Ogden Utah; and Susan Watkins. He is also survived by his step brother William Manges.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Margaret (Cedars)
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Brad Bohrer officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call from 12-2 Saturday.
