Gerald Wayne Bratton, 63, of
Crawfordsville died Saturday
afternoon in his home.
Mr.Bratton was a retired business
owner, part-time Realtor
and an
amateur
radio operator.
He
served in
the Air
Force and
was a member
of Rocky
Ridge Golf
Club Men's
Association.
He earned a bachelor's degree
in elementary education from
Southern Illinois University at
Edwardsville.
He was born Nov. 29, 1946,
at Olney, Ill., to Stanley Bratton
and Leona Fern (Ellis) Bratton
Survivors include: a son,
Patrick Wayne Bratton of Fishers;
a daughter, Leslie Danielle
Bratton Greenwood of Indianapolis;
a brother, Paul Bratton
of Madison; a sister, Carolyn
Ash of Madison, Wis.; and four
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death
by his parents and infant brother
Ellis.

A graveside service is scheduled
for 10 a.m. (CST) Friday
at Johnsonville Cemetery in
Johnsonville, Ill. A memorial
service will then take place 11
a.m. Saturday at East Side Baptist
Church in Crawfordsville,
with the Rev. Steve Whicker officiating.
Friends may call from
10-11 a.m. Saturday at the
