Gerald Lee Handley, 79 of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday at Hickory Creek Nursing Home. Gerald was born July 4, 1937 to Julius E. and Blanch V Handley. He was raised in Waveland and attended Waveland High School graduating in 1956.

He retired from RR Donnelley's and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles as well as the Moose Lodge.

Gerald Married Mary Sue Thompson, she passed away January 5, 2005. Gerald Married Mavis Joan Sheets October 7, 2006, she survives, also surviving are his two sons Randy and Rex Handley of Crawfordsville as well as Step son Tim Sheets.  He also has several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John & Ernest and step daughter Linda Hargis.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.  Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery South.  Visitation will be from 12-2 Tuesday.
