Geraldine (Gerry) A Stevens, 91 of Crawfordsville Went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, Monday at home with her family by her side.
She was born April 6, 1922 in Roswell, NM to Arthur M. & Lesbia Halsey Hoose. She married Allen R. Stevens, who preceded her in death 1987. Gerry grew up in Carlsbad, NM. , Queen of Cavern City Rodeo at age 19, President of Dames Club and Football Homecoming Queen at Carlsbad High School, and a USO volunteer.
Gerry was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, she was an accomplished member of the Crawfordsville City Bowling league where she was Bowler of the year in 1964. She was a faithful wife and mother of 8 children and renowned for her variety of Mexican Enchiladas. Most importantly she passed on a legacy of prayer and loving Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her sons; William (Gabrielle) Stevens, Richard Stevens, Mark (Kalay) Stevens, and Curtis (Jeannie) Stevens and daughters Dianne (Dick) Rule, Cindy (Steve) Golliher, and Laura (Don) Hillger. She also has 13 grandchildren and 15 great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Patrick Stevens in February 2006.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00am Thursday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church with Father David Buckles officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 Thursday with a Rosary service at 10:40am.
