Obituary
Gertrude Rafferty, 98, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 2:50 p.m. Friday at Williamsburg Health Care.
She was born near Hillsboro. She was the daughter of Clarence A. and Margaret Gegner Moore. Her second mother was Sadie Campbell Moore.
She married Leland C. "Red" Rafferty on Dec. 24, 1941. He passed away Dec. 3, 1982.
She is retired from Indiana Bell Telephone Company. She is a member of Indiana Bell Pioneers of America, 50 year member of Eastern Star Chapter 97, American Legion Aux.
She is survived by a nephew, Ernest (Joanne) Moore of Kentucky; and sister-in-law, Elsie Moore.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Crowder; and a brother, Donald G. Moore.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Darin Perkins will officiate. Burial will be at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
Friends and family can pay their respects from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
