Gladys B. Sperry, 100 of Crawfordsville, passed away Friday at home.
She was born March 25, 1910 in New Richmond.
She had worked for Dr. Peacock and Dr. Cornell. She was an avid bridge player and sports fan. She married G. Lester Sperry.
She is survived by four daughters, Beulah Patterson of Mooresville, Loretta Lou Moore of Columbus, Ohio, Sharon Lynn Sperry of Indianapolis and Janalyn L. Castor of Plainfield; son, Donald L. Sperry of Crawfordsville; sisters, Marie James of Sun City, Calif., Virginia Ot Lewis of Sun City, Calif., and Greta Stadler of Ladoga; 11 grandchildren; and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Herbert Sperry; brothers, Gifford Gug Smith and Charles Willis Smith.
Funeral services are Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. The Rev. John Van Nuys will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery on Grant Avenue.
Friends and family can pay their respects from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday.
