Glenda Joan Milligan Needham, 78, Crawfordsville, Indiana, passed away at her home, Monday afternoon, April 22, surrounded by loving family.
Glenda was born in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, on March 10, 1935. She was married in 1953 to Raymond Earl Needham, beloved soulmate, who proceeded her in death in 2011. She was also proceeded in death by her parents, Ellen E. Fruits and Glenn Fay Milligan, loving step-father, Carl Lee Fruits, and infant daughter Sue Ellen Needham.
Glenda's full-time job was being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. More than all, she was dedicated to the health and happiness of her family, and enjoyed hosting family gatherings. Glenda and Ray also enjoyed visiting family and traveling far and wide.
Glenda is survived by children Mark Allen (Brenda) Needham of New Ross, Rae Anne (Moses) Miller of Crawfordsville, Jeffrey Carl "Chip" Needham of Kingsport Tennessee, and Paul David Needham of Redwood City, California; six grandchildren, Heather (Rob) Kelley, Lauren Needham, Derek Harvey, Brooke (Jeff) Wagoner, Eric (Amanda) Miller, and Allison Miller. Glenda is also survived by an uncle, Herschel Borchelt of Avon Park, FL, and cousins David (Peggy) Borchelt of Greensboro, GA, and Tom (Wendy) Borchelt of Zanesfield, OH, and seven great grandchildren.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be held on Saturday April 27, Noon to 2:00pm, at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 North Grant Avenue, Crawfordsville.
