Gloria Ann Swem, 79, of Crawfordsville passed away
Sunday, June 14 at her residence.
She was born in Fort Wayne on October
14, 1936 to Willard "Mack" and Louise
(Ehrhardt) McCall. She graduated from
Warren Central High School in 1954.
Mrs. Swem was a homemaker and mother
to one son, Brian Swem. Her son and
granddaughter call her the best mother and
grandmother in the world. She was known
as a talented storyteller and artist among
her family and friends.
Mrs. Swem was preceded in death by her husband, Jack,
who died in 2006. She is survived by her son Brian (Marilyn)
Swem; her granddaughter, Brianne Swem; her brother,
Kenny McCall; and her sister, Linda McCall Fotiades.
Services are scheduled for 3 p.m. on Saturday at Hunt
& Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to
3 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Terry Thompson will
officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
