Obituary

Gloris Rouch, 97, of Crawfordsville passed away at 5 a.m. on March 3, 2015, at Williamsburg Healthcare. She was born June 19, 1917, at Gregory Landing, Mo., to James Everette and Zella Mae Harmon Smith . She married Charles August Hasper in 1935. They later divorced, and he preceded her in death. She then married Bill Rouch in 1966, and he preceded her in death in 2004. She worked in sales for many years. She was a 25-year volunteer at St. Vincent Hospital in Sante Fe, N.M., and she attended Christ Lutheran Church.
She is survived by daughter, Charlene Hoeferle, Crawfordsville; brother, Stanley (Peggy) Smith, Keokuk, Iowa; grandchildren, Steven Paul Hoeferle, Noblesville; Shelly (Joe) Hasper Gentle, Dallas, Scott D. (Robin) Hoeferle, Hanover, Pa., Tracy (Leslie) Wray Hasper, Houston, Lisa Hoeferle (Chip) Knight, Clarksville, Tenn., Lori (Leo) Hoeferle Schafer, Crawfordsville, Michele (Cory) Hensley, Albuquerque; Claire (Scott) Hardy, Sewickley, Pa.; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. Gloris was preceded in death by a son, Charles Martin Hasper, who was a helicopter pilot killed in Vietnam 1964; and a great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Kelly Nelson officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Cremation will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be sent to Wounded Warrior Project or Honor Flight.
