Guy Shubert, 88, of Crawfordsville,
died at 3:35 a.m.
Sunday in Ben Hur Nursing
Home.
Mr. Shubert had been a custodian
for Crawfordsville
schools. He had been a Red
Coat at Culver Hospital and St.
Clare Medical Center. He was
educated in Waynetown.
He was born March 14,
1922, at Crawfordsville, to Joe
and Helen (Wilhelm) Shubert.
He married Virginia Curran.
She survives.
Also surviving are a son,
Mike (Jill) of Crawfordsville; a
sister, Betty Holt of Crawfordsville;
four grandchildren;
10 great-grandchildren; two
great-great-grandchildren; and
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death
by two sons, Louie and Ronnie
Dean.
Funeral services are scheduled
for 11 a.m. Thursday at
Hunt & Son Funeral Home,
107 N. Grant Ave., Crawfordsville,
with the Rev. Wally
Nichols officiating. Burial will
be in Oak Hill Cemetery North.
