Harold K. Larsen, 93, of Winona Lake, died Monday at 1
a.m. at Grace Village Health Care, in Winona Lake.
Mr. Larsen was born Aug. 27, 1915 in Oak Park, Ill., the
son of Harry and Helen (Klien) Larsen. He married Helen
Scott Larsen on June 3, 1939. She preceded him in death in
1988.
He was a mechanical engineer, retiring from R.R. Donnelley
& Sons in Crawfordsville.
He was a member of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian
Church, Kiwanis and SPEBSQSA. He was a 1938 graduate
of Purdue University.
Survivors include, wife, Doris Larsen of Carmel; three
daughters, Elizabeth (Larry) Kinsey of Warsaw; Terri (Jim)
Goebel of Warsaw and Linda Hoover of Winona Lake; a
son, John Larsen of Gosport and his wife Nancy Larsen of
New Palestine; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a
sister, Grace Nickerson of Elgin, Ill. and a brother, Ralph
Larsen of Oak Park, Ill.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Scott
Larsen, son, Scott and one grandson Christopher Larson.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Wabash Avenue
Presbyterian Church with graveside services to follow. Dr. John
Van Nuys will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
