Harry McAllister, 86, of Zionsville, and formerly of Crawfordsville, died Tuesday at Zionsville Meadows in Zionsville.
He was an engineering manager for Indiana Bell.
He was a 32 degree Mason. He also designed additions to the Unity Truth Center Church in Indianapolis. He served in the Army during World War II, 82nd Airborne.
His memberships included: Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, Indiana Telephone Pioneers, New Hope Christian Church, Trader's Point Christian Church and Irvington Masonic Lodge. He was a Ben Davis High School graduate.
He was born Feb. 16, 1926, at Olney, Ill., to Harry C. and Lola (Wingert) McAllister. He married Mary Kiley. She survives.
Additional survivors include: son John McAllister of Crawfordsville; daughter Kathy McAllister of Highland Ranch, Colo; brothers, Wilbur Thomas McAllister of Greencastle and Larry McAllister of Florida; sisters, Joanne Day of Morgantown and Carolyn Abbott of Florida; and one grandchild.
A sister Donna Keil is deceased.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave., Crawfordsville. Burial will be at Ladoga Cemetery with rites by the VFW and American Legion. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Masonic Rites at 6:45 p.m.
