Hazel Pearl Foxworthy, 85, of Crawfordsville,
died at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday
at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 13, 1923 in Montgomery
County to Bernard and Pearl
Smith. She married James T. Foxworthy
on Jan. 18, 1948. He survives.
Foxworthy worked for McClamroch
Groves Insurance. Her memberships
included Young Chapel Christian
Church and Harmony 18 Home Economics.
She was an organist and
pianist at Youngs Chapel for more than
40 years.
She is survived by one son, Ross
Foxworthy of Crawfordsville; one brother,
Joe Smith of Crawfordsville; six
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Foxworthy was preceded in death
by one son, James Rex Foxworthy.
Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home
with the Rev. Dorman Winger officiating.
Burial will be at Waynetown
Masonic. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8
p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made
to Youngs Chapel Christian Church.
