Hazel F. Hartung of North Fort Myers,
Fla., and formerly of Crawfordsville and
Hendricks County, died Wednesday in
Hope Hospice at Cape Coral, Fla. She
was 95.
She graduated from New Ross High
School.
She was born April 25, 1915, in Putnam
County, to Elmer and Lillie Kinkead
French. She married Howard C. Hartung
on Nov. 11, 1933. He died in 2001.
Surviving are four sons, Bob (Diane) of
Plainfield, Bill of Indianapolis, Mike (Betty)
of Miramar, Fla., and Steve (Gloria) of
Cape Coral, Fla.; two sisters, Opal McKinstry
of Ladoga and Gladys Fletcher of
Naples Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 30 greatgrandchildren;
and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for
11 a.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral
Home, 107 N. Grant Ave. Burial will be in
New Ross Cemetery. Friends may call
from 2-6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
