Helen A Flynn, 85, Crawfordsville, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday August 9, 2013 and will be sadly missed. Everyone knew her as "granny."
She retired as a cashier from Walmart. Her memberships included First Church of God where she loved her church family and pastor. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed her trip to New Zealand. In addition she loved her dog, Tyler and enjoyed wildlife from her back door, enjoyed ballroom dancing and never missed a formal dance.
She and her husband Denny had owned the bar and grill in New Richmond during the time the movie "Hoosiers" was filmed. A highlight for her was when any of the actors would come in for lunch.
She was born February 26, 1928 in Lafayette to Henry Baumis and Nellie (Stombaugh) Baumis. She graduated from St. Francis High School in Lafayette. She first married Robert Rosenbrook , they later divorced and he passed away in February of 2013. She married Denny Flynn and he passed in November of 1991.
Survivors include daughters, Sherry Wettschurack of Crawfordsville and Martha Sarbeck of Riverside, CA, sons, Mark Rosenbrook of Moreno Valley, CA and Allen Rosenbrook of Huntington Beach, CA, brother Jeff (Lois) Baumis of Lafayette. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death is an infant son, Fay Robert Rosenbrook, Jr., brother, John Baumis and a sister, Betty Rohrabaugh.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Callahan officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends mall call 12:00 until services Wednesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Church of God or to the Autism Society.
