Helen Schilling, 88, Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday evening at home.

She was born April 7, 1932 in Crawfordsville to Howard and Ethel (Tate) Steele.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, her grandkids and her dog Daisy.  She married Herbert Schilling and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children Brenda (Vlad) Dado of Panama City Beach, FL; Terri (Howard) Farley of Darlington; Kurt Surber of Crawfordsville; C.J. (Christopher) Close of Franklin, TN and John (Marla) schilling of Crawfordsville along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
