Obituary
Helen J. Wynne of Crawfordsville died Sunday at Hickory Creek Nursing Home. She was 97.
Mrs. Wynne was a homemaker. She was a member of Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church; was a member and past president of the Chicago Child Care Society; and she was a member and past president of Pine Castle Garden Club in Florida. She was a 1932 graduate of Crawfordsville High School. She also attended MacMurray College.
She was born Jan. 4, 1915, at Crawfordsville, to Earl and Elizabeth (Raub) Johnson. She married Brooks Wynne. He died Nov. 30, 2007.
Survivors include: son William Wynne, Crawfordsville; and daughter Judith Wynne, Crawfordsville.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday afternoon at St. John's Episcopal Church with further details to come. Hunt & Son Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
