Obituary
Henry L. Thompson, 80, of Crawfordsville passed away 5:15pm Wednesday in his daughters home.
He was born December 26, 1925 in Linden to James & Naomi Cox Thompson. He attended Clarks Hill Schools.
Mr. Thompson retired in 1991 from PFSI Trucking in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Moose and Eagles Lodges.
He married Hazel Dowell in 1945. In 1957 he married Sue Cox; she preceded him in death in 1992.
Survivors include his children- Debbie Thompson of Ft. Wayne; Carla Watt of Crawfordsville; Jimmy Thompson of Thomasville, GA; Dorinda Wilhite of New Richmond; Charles Thompson of Seymour, IN; & Diana Dieterle of Indianapolis. He is also survived by his two brothers James Thompson of New Ross and Jerry Thompson of Wingate, Two Sisters Betty Bartlett of Linden and Janet Potter of New Richmond, as well as 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A daughter Darlene Thompson, Son Larry Thompson and Sister Helen Thompson preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Saturday October 28 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Dowell officiating. Friends my call from 10-2pm Saturday. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, North Salem, IN.
