Obituary
Herschel D. Brenda, 63, Crawfordsville, passed away Wednesday evening at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health - Crawfordsville.
He was retired from R.R. Donnelley's and HOD Carrier No. 274.
He enjoyed the outdoors, mushrooming, hunting, fishing, ginseng and his dog, Sabrina.
He had served in the National Guard and was a member of American Legion Post No. 72.
Born May 7, 1948, in Stanford, Ky., he was the son of Fritz and Myrtle (Blanton) Brenda and went to school in Kentucky. He married Patty Billingsley.
Survivors include his wife; his mother who lives in Crawfordsville; a son, Brian Brenda of Darlington; a brother, Bill (Joan) Brenda of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Marsha (Mike) Keffer of Crawfordsville and Geraldine (John) Foster of Waveland; several nieces; a nephew; and a grandchild, Jared Brenda of Darlington.
A celebration of life will take place 5-7pm Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home
