Imogene C. Royal, 95, passed away May 6 ^th at Whitlock Place in Crawfordsville.

She was born June 30, 1922 in Sedalia, IN to John E. and Goldie (Salmon) Taylor and graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1940.

She was a homemaker and memberships include First United Methodist Church, and American Legion Auxiliary.

She married Charles Robert Coons on December 20, 1941 and in Lafayette, IN and he passed January 20, 1987.  She then married Robert Royal on March 17, 1990 in Crawfordsville and he passed September 14, 2006.

Survivors include children R. Dennis (Sally) Coons of Crawfordsville, Rita (Jim) Binder of Plattsmouth, NE, Denise (Brad) Jones of Noblesville, IN and son in law Ron (Cindy) Racine of Papillion, NE.  Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Sandra Racine, brother Howard Taylor and sisters, Mary Bricker, Thelma Whitinger and Vera Stock.

Private services were held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Thursday May 10 ^th .
